OUR CLEAR HAVEN ("Our Clear Haven," "we," "our," and "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Please read it alongside our Terms of Service.
Two parts of Our Clear Haven, and why it matters for your privacy
Our Clear Haven operates two distinct things, and the privacy commitments are different for each:
This website and store (ourclearhaven.org). This site is hosted by a third party, Fourthwall, Inc., and exists to share our mission, accept contributions, and sell merchandise. Using the site involves standard website analytics, and, if you make a purchase, a payment processor. This is described honestly below.
The Crystal Clear App. The app is governed by a stronger, structural commitment: no advertising, no sale of personal data, no required login for core features, and on-device storage of your personal information. The app does not share your personal data with advertisers, ever. When the app launches it will carry its own in-app privacy notice reflecting these commitments.
The commitments in (2) are a design principle of the app, not a marketing slogan. This website (1) is a more conventional website, and what it actually does is set out below.

Information we collect on this website
Information you provide directly:
Your name and email address if you subscribe to updates or join the Grande Grand Founders Club.
If you purchase merchandise: your name, email, shipping address, and the information our payment processor needs to complete the transaction.
The content of any message you send us.
Information collected automatically:
Standard log and usage data such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view, and the site you arrived from. We use this to understand traffic and improve the site.
Payment information:
Payment card details are collected and processed by our third-party payment processor through Fourthwall. Our Clear Haven does not store full card numbers. -
How we use your information
We use your information to:
Respond to you and provide the updates or membership benefits you asked for.
Fulfill and ship merchandise orders.
Measure website traffic and improve the site.
Prevent fraud and protect the safety of our users and the public.
Meet our legal obligations.
We do not use your information to serve you advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.

Depending on where you live (including California, Oregon, the European Economic Area, and the United Kingdom), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of it. This website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, or as required by law, after which we delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable physical and electronic safeguards to protect your information. No online service can guarantee perfect security.

Contributions and tax status
Contributions made through this site, including Grande Grand Founders Club contributions and merchandise purchases, support the development of the Crystal Clear App. Our Clear Haven is not yet a tax-exempt organization and does not yet have a confirmed fiscal sponsor, so contributions are not tax-deductible at this time. We will update this notice if and when that status changes.
